In an unforgettable experience, 37 Year 12 students ventured to the picturesque village of Belihul Oya for a residential trip that was packed with excitement, bonding, and learning. The trip, designed to build teamwork and foster personal growth, was an overwhelming success, with students participating in a variety of fun and challenging activities that tested their physical and mental endurance. 

Raft Building and Team Spirit 

One of the highlights of the trip was the raft-building exercise, where students worked together to construct rafts using limited resources. The activity not only tested their problem-solving abilities but also strengthened their communication and leadership skills. It was a true testament to the power of teamwork, as the students successfully launched their rafts into the water and paddled as a united front. 

Trekking Through Nature 

The adventure continued with a scenic trek around the village, allowing students to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Belihul Oya. The trek was a refreshing escape from their usual environment, giving them a chance to connect with nature while exploring the local surroundings. Along the way, students bonded with their peers and reflected on the importance of perseverance and resilience. 

A Battle of Creativity: The Interhouse Lip Sync Competition 

To cap off the trip, students took part in an exciting interhouse lip sync battle, where creativity and entertainment took center stage.

Each house gave their all, delivering performances that were both hilarious and impressive. The friendly competition brought everyone together in a light-hearted and fun-filled evening, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
