Under 12 Girls TISSL Football: 1st Runners Up
Our U12 girls participated in the 3-day TISSL football tournament, hosted by BSC, and advanced all the way to the final! Their style of play was highly attacking and thrilling to watch.
In the final against GCC, the girls were leading 1-0 with just 2 minutes remaining. Unfortunately, GCC managed to convert a free kick in the last moments, tying the game. They went on to win the penalty shootout by a single penalty. It was so close, but our girls can hold their heads high.
Special recognition to Leah Jayasinghe, who won the MVP award, and Githsaara Panapitiya, who earned the Golden Boot.
