The children were introduced to the art of Clare Youngs, a designer and illustrator and author to see how she uses shape, colour and pattern in some of her collage artworks.
The children used the 3 primary colours, red, yellow and blue for their own snail collage, using painted and patterned paper which was cut out and glued as a collage in the shape of a snail.
