It was fantastic to witness so many young, talented mathematicians aged 7 to 17 sitting for this year’s Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) on Saturday, 5th October! 🌟 This marks the 8th consecutive year that BSC students have participated in the SEAMO Mathematics Competition.

Since we began in 2017 with 60 students from BSC being the first to participate from Sri Lanka, SEAMO has grown tremendously! Now, nearly 2,000 students from different national and international schools across the country are taking part in this prestigious exam. 🙌

This year, we had around 170 students from BSC joining in, all passionate about mathematics and eager to sharpen their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. 🧠✨ It’s amazing to see this enthusiasm for mathematics continuing to grow each year!
