Looking back, Book Week in Year 2 was truly magical! Our fantasy theme of dragons and giants sparked imagination and excitement. Mrs. Wells brought Zog to life with a captivating reading, while Dr. Judith inspired creativity as our very own author.
The carousel of activities had students moving between classrooms, enjoying role play, quizzes like Kahoot, and other fun reading tasks led by teachers, TAs, and specialists. The colourful character dress-up day was a hit, and the week ended with students excitedly choosing books from the Book Merchants.
It was a week filled with stories, creativity, and a love for reading!
